Wedding Photography Costs in London: 2025 Prices & Packages Explained
Updated April 2025 – by Cameraboss, London Wedding Photographer
Planning a wedding in London? Then you’re already aware that the capital offers a dazzling range of venues, suppliers, and styles—but it also comes with one of the UK’s highest average wedding costs. One essential investment that shouldn’t be overlooked is your wedding photography.
As a trusted London wedding photographer, Cameraboss is here to help you understand what’s included in wedding photography packages, what to expect in 2025 pricing, and how to make the most of your photography budget—while ensuring you get stunning images that tell your love story beautifully.
💸 How Much Does Wedding Photography Cost in London (2025)?
In 2025, the average cost of professional wedding photography in London is approximately £1,950–£2,300 for full-day coverage. Pricing can vary based on the photographer’s experience, coverage hours, location, and the level of service provided.
At Cameraboss, we offer bespoke packages tailored to your day, whether you’re planning an intimate elopement in Mayfair or a grand multicultural wedding in South Kensington.
Key Factors That Influence the Price:
- Photographer Experience & Style
- Established professionals like Cameraboss, with years of London-based wedding experience and an editorial/documentary style, naturally charge more than newer photographers—but with that comes confidence, consistency and creativity.
- Coverage Duration
- Full-day coverage (8–12 hours) costs more than half-day packages, but it means every detail—from bridal prep to your late-night dancefloor—gets captured.
- Location & Travel
- Weddings in central London or split between multiple venues can increase time and travel costs. We always include travel within Greater London.
- Season & Popularity of Date
- Summer weekends are premium slots and often booked over a year in advance. Winter weddings or weekday celebrations may qualify for discounts.
- Add-ons & Deliverables
- Extras such as pre-wedding shoots, second photographers, drone shots, wedding albums, highlight reels, or express delivery influence the final cost.

Why Choose a Professional Wedding Photographer in London?
London is a dynamic, fast-paced city. You need a photographer who understands light, movement, timing, and how to handle unpredictable weather or busy urban settings.
With Cameraboss, you’re not just booking someone with a camera—you’re hiring:
- An expert in lighting, composition & visual storytelling
- A calm and professional presence on your big day
- Someone who’s worked across iconic venues from The Shard to Shoreditch studios
- A visual artist who preserves fleeting moments and genuine emotions
Is It Worth the Investment?
Absolutely. Wedding photography is one of the few elements of your day that grows in value over time. Long after the music fades and the cake is eaten, your wedding album becomes your family’s first heirloom.
For most couples, we recommend allocating 10%–15% of your total wedding budget toward photography.
Money-Saving Tips Without Compromising Quality
- Opt for a weekday or off-peak date
- Choose digital-only delivery to reduce costs
- Reduce coverage hours to focus on key events
- Combine photography and videography packages
- Follow Cameraboss on Instagram for flash offers & giveaways
Booking & Payment Info (2025)
We recommend booking 9–12 months in advance, especially for summer dates. To secure your wedding, a 25% deposit is required with the remaining balance due 2 weeks before the event.
We also offer flexible instalment payment plans.
